From 20 July 20 t0 26, 1980, the the CULTURAL SOCIETY LONGOS
organized the
CULTURAL WEEK 1980.
The opening ceremony on Sunday,
July 20, 1980 was a
performance of the "Theatre-Lab Patras".
On Monday and Tuesday there were film performances
and dance performances by the Aegion Dance Association.
One of the highlights was the musical-poetic evening
with Kilaidonis and Negrepontis on Wednesday, July 23, 1980.
In addition to a performance of the traditional shadow theatre
"Karagiozis" and the performance of the "Birds" by the
Little-Theatre-Athens was another unforgettable highlight
the concert of S. Sakelaropoulou on Saturday, July 26, 1980.
It remains to be mentioned that during the the entire
cultural week of 1980 an exhibition of paintures
took place.
