The administrative council of Longos Cultural Society ’Lord Byron’ invited the members as well as
its young and old friends to the established Christmas celebration which took place in the
Cultural Center of Longos Cultural Society at 6:00 p.m. on December 28, 2011.

The chairwoman Mrs Maria Tsamtsouri-Kapetzoni welcomed
the guests.
The children, who participate in the theatre-group of our
cultural society, played two short sketches.
Then the successful students have been rewarded for their
initiation in the Universities and the Technical Institutes of our
country.
Afterwards the administrative council of our society presented
the life and the legacy of a man who lives in our village and
helped the development, the peace and the progress of this
place in a big or in a smaller extent.
This year the homage was payed to the priest of our parish,
Dionisios Livanas.

Awards

The successful students have been rewarded for
their initiation in the Universities and the Technical
Institutes of our country.
Instead of Marinela her father Mr Nikolaos
Koukopoulos received the award.
Also rewarded was Andreas Bardoutsos,
son of Ioannis.

TRIBUTES

   At this event was presented once more
   the life and the legacy of one person
   who lives in our village and helped the
   development, the peace and the progress of
   this place.
