Beethoven School Berlin guest at F.O.L

The administrative council of the Cultural Society Longos "Lord Byron" has invited students of the Beethoven Grammar School Berlin Lankwitz to get to know each other at the Cultural Centre of Longos. 29 students, together with their teachers, made an educational eleven days educational journey. They visited among other places Athens and stayed in Longos, wherefrom they travelled to Argolis, to Olympia, Delphi and via Diakofto with the rack railway to Kalavryta, where they laid down a wreath at the Holocaust Memorial.

The president of our society   Mrs Maria Tsamtsouri-Kapetsoni welcomed   the young students from Berlin   and the accompanying teachers.   The translation was made by   Georgios Xenidis from Berlin.   Mrs Tsamtsouri-Kapetsoni   gave to each of the students   a booklet with the history of Longos   as a souvenir and was very happy to accepted the   festschrift "100 Years Beethoven Grammar School".

Afterwards the young people of our society presented traditional greek dances.
