The new board of Longos’ Cultural Society ‘Lord Byron’ has invited the friends and members of the association to the Easter pleasure, which took place on Easter Monday, 13 April 2015, from 11.00 a.m. on the village square of Longos.

The chairman of the new board, Mr. Ierotheos Mourikis, welcomed the invited guests of honour, including the mayor of the city of Aegialeiou, Mr. Athanasios Panagopoulos, the municipal council of Mr. Dimitrios Kalamidas and the chairman of the local council, Mr. Dimitrios Mitropoulos, as well as all the friends of our association who honoured us by their participation in this year's Easter pleasure. A sun-drenched day - and a wonderful atmosphere; big and small celebrated with full enthusiasm.

The leaders of the board and other members of the CULTURAL SOCIETY LONGOS spared neither time nor effort to dye Easter eggs, which they distributed among the guests together with the Easter cookies of the Konstantinos Ntouros bakery.

A lottery was held at the end of the event. The 65 rich winnings were gifts from companies in Aegialeiou and many of our villagers.

The costs of the musicians were paid by - besides the CULTURAL SOCIETY LONGOS - Mr. Dionysios Koutela - Café "Platanos" - and Mr. Sotiris Bouloubasis - Restaurant "The Court of Mrs. Maria" at the village square of Longos. We thank for this support and hope that the climate of such a good cooperation will continue in the future.
