The managing council of the CULTURAL SOCIETY LONGOS "LORD BYRON"
invited the members and friends of our society to an exhibition of the
artists Katerina Bouloubasi (painting) and Maria Lambropoulou (glass
painting). The exhibition took place from Friday, August 27 until Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the Longos´Cultural Centre.

Katerina Bouloubasi was born in 1973 in Athens. She descend from Longos, where she moved with her parents as a 5 year old girl. She is mother of a daughter and lives with her family in Pireus, where she completed a scholl of painting. Her favourite village: Longos, her favourite island: Hydra - both source of inspiration, which can be found in many of her works.

Maria Lambropoulou was born in 1972 in Longos, she is mother of a son and lives with her family in Longos. Maria Lambropoulou specialized in glass painting - especial for windows and doors - and produced for example the windows of St. George´s chapel at Longos. She designs pieces of jewellery and fancy goods as well as other decorative articles.
