PREMIÈRE "Heroes of nothing in the land of nowhere"

The Adults-Theatre-Group F.O.L. presented in the context of the Cultural Summer 2019 the theatrical performance "Heroes of nothing in the land of nowhere" by Achilleas E. Archontis on Friday, August 9, 2019, at 9.30 p.m. at the Theatre F.O.L. in the Cultural Centre Longos. ADMISSION 3,00 EURO as financial support for the CULTURAL SOCIETY LONGOS.

The Author Achilleas E. Archontis was born in 1964 in Agia near Larisa, where he now lives and works as a freelancer. He is a graduate of the University of Macedonia and has written novels and plays. His published works so far are:    «Dust on the mirror»    «Heroes of nothing in the land of nowhere»    «Life is beautiful»    «Locked doors»    «Marty Hoaxie, It's known!» (Alle als elektronische Veröffentlichungen by www.schooltima.gr) and the print version «Film Noir» (Publisher ΈΝΤΥΠΟΙΣ) Achilleas E. Archontis is married and father of three children.

Some words about the play I've often wondered if people are interested in what an amateur theater group is. How does it work? What fears and problems, but also what wishes and joys does it have? Warum bin ich dabei? Why am I in this? I don't think there's just one answer to that, after all. Every person is unique, with his own goals, his own dreams, but also his own inner world, his own life. But how wonderful it is when finally a common result comes out. The performance!

Mr. Ierotheos Mourikis, President of the CULTURAL SOCIETY LONGOS "LORD BYRON", welcomed the spectators of the premiere and explained that the cultural association had not received any financial support from the city of Aigialeia for the last two years.   The director, Mr Dimitris Giannopoulos, then spoke a few explanatory words on the performance of the play.
