Sunday, November 3, 2019 - COFFEE with the CULTURAL SOCIETY

On Sunday, 3 November 2019, there was once again an exchange of ideas at the COFFEE with the CULTURAL SOCIETY to which the friends and members of the association have been warmly invited. The event started at 6.30 p.m. in the rooms of the Cultural Centre Longos.

For the coffee of the month we had already asked the ladies and of course the gentlemen at our last meeting to bake cheese and herb pita to have it tasted and evaluated by our committee and to choose the best pita. Those who wanted to take part in the competition came with their cheese or herb cakes. The committee consisted of three gentlemen - Telis Mitropoulos, Nikos Tsamtsouris and Stamatis Theocharidis - and there was a commemorative prize. The committee's evaluation began at 8 p.m. after the committee members had enjoyed their coffee. Of course, the committee did not know the manufacturer and judged impartially.

Six people took part in the competition. The winners were Mrs. Danai Papaloukopoulou with the best herb pita and Mrs. Anastasia Mitropoulou with the best cheese pita. They each received a souvenir gift. The Board of the CULTURAL SOCIETY LONGOS would like to thank everyone who took part in the competition.
