The administrative council of the CULTURAL SOCIETY LONGOS invited in cooperation with the HELLENIKON IDYLLION to the Concert evening with the "Belcanto Academy"on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at 9.00 p.m. at the Cultural Centre Longos. ADMISSION FREE
Due to the Corona pandemic, places were limited. Admission according to priority.

The well-known "Belcanto Academy" from Italy was visiting Selianitika with a summer academy for prospective soloists. The Academy is considered one of the most prestigious training centres for aspiring singers in Italy. Under the direction of Maestro Richard J. Sigmund, Maestra Francesca Micarelli and Maestro Massimo Lambertini, the young singers and pianists performed well-known arias from operas and operettas and also various pieces of sacred music. The concert programme ranged from works by Vivaldi, Stradella and Pergolesi to famous arias by Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, Strauss and Lehàr. We were all able to experience a special concert evening and a moving musical enjoyment. |
