Sunday, January 19, 2020 - CUT OF THE NEW YEAR CAKE

The administrative council of the CULTURAL SOCIETY LONGOS "LORD BYRON" invited the members and friends of the society to the CUT OF THE NEW YEAR CAKE on Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 6.30 p.m. in the rooms of the Cultural Centre Longos.

The New Year Cake - the Vasilopita - was consecrated by the Reverend Christos Tsoulkas and then cut by the chairman of the CULTURAL SOCIETY LONGOS "LORD BYRON". The gift of Pita was a basket of traditional products. The lucky person of the evening who found the lucky coin in the Vasilopita was Mrs. Anna Bouna.

At the event, Maria Dimopoulou, who was unable to attend the Christmas Celebration,
was honoured for her admission to the University of Patras.
