March 25, 2022 - Ceremonial Laying of Wreath

Wreaths were laid down at the statue of heroes of war after the Sunday Service in the church of Saint Dimitrios in Longo Simpoliteia. On behalf of the Longos’ Cultural Society ‘Lord Byron’, this was done by the member of the Managing Committee, Mrs Anta Iliopoulou. After a minute of silence and the National Anthem, followed the speech of the chairman of the local council and member of the CULTURAL SOCIETY LONGOS, Mr. Dionysios Skarmoutsos.
