BYZANTINE OHRID - September 15 until September 18, 2022

The CULTURAL SOCIETY LONGOS "LORD BYRON" in cooperation with MATTHEOS-TOURS - Aigio has organised a four-day EXCURSION to Ohrid, Struga, Sveti Naum Monastery and Bitola from 15th September to 18th September 2022.

Participation fee: 205 180 €/person. The price includes transport in the luxury bus, accommodation at the 4* Hotel Aqualina in Ohrid, Half board and a local guide.

Excursion programme 15 September to 18 September 2022 BYZANTINE OHRID Thursday, September 15, 2022 Gathering of the excursionists at the fountain at 7.00 a.m. and departure from Longos to Rio-Antirrio, continuing via the Ionian Highway. Stop for coffee at Bizani. Then via Egnatia Odos, Grevena, Kozani and stop in Florina for lunch, arriving at the border. Cheap shopping in duty-free shops, onward journey to Ohrid. Arrival in the afternoon at the hotel, check-in, dinner and overnight. Friday, September 16, 2022 After breakfast, tour of the old town with its cobbled streets and Greek villas.       OHRID                     Learn more ... Saturday, September 17, 2022 After breakfast we set off for Bitola, the city of consulates. We visited Roman Bitola and then the city centre, the pedestrian zone Shiroq Sokak, the bazaar and were able to shop at the local market.       Bitola                     Learn more ... In the afternoon optional boat trip on the lake. Dinner at the hotel. Sunday, September 18, 2022 After breakfast we left the hotel and made our way back to Greece. We drove through Bitola, crossed the border and returned to Longos via Florina, the Egnatia and the Ionian Highway, of course with the necessary breaks to rest and eat.
