The Managing Committee of the CULTURAL SOCIETY LONGOS has invited the members and friends of our society to the traditional

CUT OF THE NEW YEAR CAKE

on Saturday February 7, 2026 at 6.30 pm at the Longos Cultural Centre.

Reverend Christos Tsolkas blessed the Vasilopita and cut it together with the chairwoman of the CULTURAL SOCIETY LONGOS, Mrs. Dimitra Tsamtsouri-Prinou.

Then a draw was held to determine who would receive the "lucky coin".

The lucky winner was Ms. Elefteria Mitropoulou. The "lucky coin" was a gift basket.

During the event, the school leavers of 2025 were honored:

Alexandra Drouka receives her certificate from the chairwoman of the CULTURAL SOCIETY LONGOS.
Georgia Xydia's father accepted the commemorative certificate on her behalf.

Theodoros Tsagaris was honored too.
The certificate was presented to Mrs. Voula Kalamida on behalf of her grandson Konstantinos Spiritos.

Dimitris Chrysanthopoulos accepts his document.
The certificate for Vasiliki Ferfeli will be presented later.
