PalamidiPalamidi is one of the most beautiful castles in Greece and the largest and best preserved fortification of the Venetian occupation. It was completed in 1714 in a record time of only a few years to serve the military and maritime operations of the Venetians at the time. It follows the natural line of the hill and merges with the surrounding landscape, fully respecting the space and the purpose it is meant to serve. It is preserved in excellent condition and represents one of the greatest achievements of Venetian fortress architecture.

NafplioNafplio, the capital of the prefecture of Argolis, is one of the most famous and beautiful cities in Greece. It is not only an administrative centre, but also an important tourist centre that is heavily frequented throughout the year. According to mythology, the city owes its name to the settler Nafplio, son of the god Poseidon and Amymoni. In ancient times, Nafplio lay in the shadow of Argos and served as its port from the 7th century BC.
